Words of Wisdom

Author unknown

It‘s not where we stand but in what direction we are moving.
we find ourselves running in place, struggling to get ahead simply
because we forget to address some of the simple truths that govern our
potential to make progress.

 So here’s a quick reminder:

  1. The acquisition of knowledge doesn’t mean you’re growing.  Growing happens when what you know changes how you live.
  2. You can’t have good ideas unless you’re willing to generate a lot of bad ones.
  3. A good idea without action is worth nothing.
  4. Change is often resisted when it is needed the most.
  5. Discipline is choosing what you want most over what you want right now.
  6. People seldom do things to the best of their ability.  They do things to the best of their willingness.
  7. You can’t change other people; you can only offer guidance, and lead by example.
  8. Right now, there’s a lot you don’t know.  And if you never challenge your own beliefs, the list will never shrink.
  9. If
you’re talking to someone you don’t know well, you may be talking to
someone who knows way more about the topic of conversation than you do.
  10. The most common and harmful addiction in the world is the draw of comfort.
  11. Growth
begins at the end of your comfort zone.  Stepping outside of your
comfort zone will put things into perspective from an angle you can’t
    grasp now.
  12. When you spend time worrying, you’re simply using your imagination to create things you don’t want.
  13. It’s usually only as good or bad as you think it is.  Most of what we see is only what we think about what we see.
  14. Most
of the bad things you worry about will never happen.  Most of the bad
things that do happen will have never crossed your worried mind.
  15. Some circumstances are uncontrollable, but we can always decide how we react to those circumstances.
  16. Those who complain the most, accomplish the least.
  17. Whenever
somebody discredits you, and tells you that you can’t do something,
keep in mind that they are speaking from within the boundaries of their
    own limitations.
  18. Every problem you have in your life right now is your responsibility, regardless of who initially caused it.
  19. It’s not so much about finding opportunities as it is about creating them.

It Starts with a Dream

I can’t improve on this, author unknown

universe has an immeasurable number of ideas running through it. When
you tune into the wonder of creation- if you have faith and allow the
higher source to work though you- you become a finely tuned channel for
ideas to flow consistently through you

you do not hear the ideas, that does not mean they are not there. It
means your spirit is tuned into some other frequency. Intuition and
instinct will tell you when to take action and what to do.

create opportunities for ourselves…Seize each moment and make
intelligent and honest use of it. Some attempts will pay off, and
eventually at least one will hit the jackpot !

you stay in the game , making adjustments now and then, and keep
swinging the bat , sooner or later you’ll hit the ball. Live your life
to the fullest, because the goodwill and energy you project attract
opportunity to you in proportion to your effort.

who has achieved  greatness or fulfillment in life started out with a
dream…An unlimited power to create lies within you.

are so many things we do, say, and think that stop us from being
powerful beings and being all that we can be. Often, we think and talk
ourselves into failing without even trying. This is another common form
of disempowering negative thinking. How many times have you gone for an
interview, saying to yourself, “I haven’t got a hope in hell of getting
this job!” – or believing you’ll fail a test before you’ve even taken

already know about the law of attraction; “Life follows thought.” Are
you creating a negative outcome as a result of your fears and past
conditioning? It’s down to how much you truly believe in yourself and
your self-worth. It’s important to see yourself as a winner.

Here are 7 steps to help you break free of the “I’m Going to Fail” Syndrome:

  1. Work on letting go of your past beliefs, fears, and hang-ups. Start having positive conversations with yourself.
  2. Start believing why you can, as opposed to why you can’t.
  3. Stay focused on your goals and aspirations.
  4. Write all your experiences in your journal. Get them out of your head!
  5. Think
of yourself as a winner, rather than a loser. Once you believe in
yourself, you’ll be surprised at how others start believing in you more.
Remember this statement; “We train others how to treat us by the way we
    treat ourselves.”
  6. Believe
in success. When you start believing that you can succeed, it’s
surprising how your mind starts to figure out solutions for success. You
    won’t even contemplate failure.
  7. Visualize and feel yourself in a successful outcome and living a life that you know you’ll love.

All you can do really is give every opportunity your best shot!
will your life be like when you’ve achieved your most deeply-held
dreams? Let’s take a look at how you can start living your dreams this
very day.

Do you have a dream, a vision of the life you wish to live?
How specific is that dream?
How clear is that vision?
How do you intend to reach it?
What obstacles stand in your way?
Are your fears holding you back or are you using them to move you forward?
fears can actually lead you to success.  Fear is an intense emotion.
But that doesn’t mean it has to control you, or even stop you.  Fear
can prepare you and push you forward just as strongly as it can hold you
back.  Fear heightens your awareness and increases your physical
strength.  Fear brings your mind to sharp focus.  With all that going
for you, does it make sense to just run and hide?  Of course not.  Fear
gets you in shape to take action!

you waiting for things to get better before moving ahead?  If you’re
serious about success, you need to start taking action today.  If you’re
waiting for things to be perfect, you’ll wait forever and nothing will
ever get done.

way to achieve is to bloom where you’re planted, to do what you can,
where you are, with what you have.  It’s easy to think up excuses for
not taking action.  “If only I had more hours in the day.  If only I had
a better job.  If only I could meet the right person.”  But excuses
won’t bring you anything of value.  You’ve got to change your “if only”
into an “I will.”  “I will make better use of my time.  I will work on
improving my career.  I will create and nurture my relationships.”

a chance.  Have faith in yourself.  Your circumstances will improve
when you make the effort to improve them.  Start where you are right
now.  You have everything it takes to reach for whatever you desire.
Stop wishing.  Use your time, your energy, your thoughts and efforts to
make it happen!  You’ll be glad you did!

We Each Live in Our Own Reality

Written by Gary Wonning

We create our own reality

This is a hard concept for many, most of us tend to think that each of us
live in the same reality and we all perceive events the same way.

Even though most of us realize many people may have a different opinion than
we do, and as a result see life from a different perspective, most
don’t realize how much other’s views vary from our own.

We all live in our own little world, influenced by many different factors
and circumstances. The environment in which we were raised as well as
the environment in which we are living now are two of the biggest
factors in determining how we see the world.

Our own perspective in how we see others around us also determines our
reality. We have a different relationship with everyone around us than
anyone else does. We have had different past life experiences with them
also, this all affects how we feel and react to them.

As a result, two people from similar backgrounds can view a particular
event and each come away with a different perspective of what just
occurred. Many times they will even see the physical reality
differently. Many times two people viewing an accident or a crime will
have two different versions.

This can also be affected by where the individual person’s attention and
thoughts are at the moment. If your mind is somewhere else at the time
and thinking of something totally different than what is happening
directly in front of you, your perception will be entirely different
than the individual next to you who has their total focus on it.

We all live in our own little world independent, but yet dependent on
those around us. Each and everyone of of us are here to learn and grow
from the experiences we have. Not only do these experiences shape our
reality, but they also mold the events that  chart our destiny, and
change our perception of it.

Each of us is on a different path, and only by realizing our own reality and
how it can differ from those around us can we fulfill our mission here
on earth and grow spiritually, thereby reaching our highest potential.

I have found over the years that there is no such thing as reality, it is only how we perceive it. Each of us may have a different view of it because of our different beliefs and experiences. Two individuals can be sitting side by side, looking at the same event and “see” two entirely different outcomes based on their individual perceptions

The Law of Least Resistance

Written by Gary Wonning

We have all been taught that we must struggle through life and work hard to achieve what we desire.

this is somewhat true, much can be said for following the path of least
resistance. We do have to work and put forth an effort to achieve what
we want in life, that focus is what notifies the universe we are serious

to achieve our highest potential.

with hard determined work we must make a commitment of follow a path of

practice and patience. As we are pursuing our dreams we will meet
obstacles along the way, many will be placed in our path. That is all
part of divine plan.

can overcome anything if we so desire.

that to struggle is in vain. When we finally accept the obstacles for
what they are, they no longer deny us our treasure.

ourselves defenseless to the laws of the universe or God. Let his will
